1. Accessories Checklist

Please check all components before installation:

  1. Full animatronic dinosaur body (integrated multi-core aviation main cable at hind legs)
  2. Main power control box (motion controller host)
  3. Outdoor waterproof active speaker with audio cable (DC connector + 2-pin aviation plug)
  4. Mushroom-style human body infrared sensor (3-pin aviation cable)
  5. 220V universal power input cable (110V/220V compatible)
  6. Fiberglass rock waterproof cover (controller rainproof housing)
  7. Complete spare sealing rings and fastening nuts

2. Pre-Installation Safety Instructions

  1. Disconnect power before all installation and maintenance. Never plug/unplug aviation plugs under power to avoid short circuit and damage to mainboard and motors.
  2. The system supports 110V/220V dual voltage, compatible with European and American power standards. We will confirm local voltage before order shipment.
  3. All aviation connectors are equipped with waterproof sealing rings. Fully tighten the outer nuts after connection for outdoor rainproof and leakage-proof performance.
  4. The infrared sensor is designed for outdoor open-air use with independent waterproof performance. The controller and speaker must be fully covered by the fiberglass rock cover.
  5. The dinosaur adopts built-in 24V safe DC motors. Only the controller input uses commercial power. Keep children away from electrical components and wires.
  6. Install on flat ground. Avoid long-term direct sunlight and water immersion to extend equipment service life.

3. Step-by-Step Installation Guide

No professional technician required. Self-installable for overseas clients.

Step 1: Prepare Dinosaur Main Cable

  1. Locate the extended black main aviation cable at the dinosaur’s hind legs.
  2. Clean dust and debris inside the aviation socket to ensure stable conductivity.
  3. Align the positioning notch for accurate plug-in connection.

Step 2: Connect Main Cable to Controller Action Port

  1. Align the largest single notch of the aviation plug upward and insert into the Action port on the controller side.
  2. Fully insert the plug and tighten the anti-slip outer nut for complete waterproof sealing.
  3. This cable transmits power and signal for head, mouth, limbs and tail movements.

Step 3: Connect DC Power Cable for Speaker

  1. Insert the red-black DC plug into the speaker DC12V-24V POWER port.
  2. Leave the 2-pin aviation audio plug ready for controller connection.

Step 4: Connect Audio Cable to Controller

  1. Insert the 2-pin aviation plug into the controller Audio Input port.
  2. Tighten the waterproof nut.
  3. This connection synchronizes dinosaur roaring sound with body movements.

Step 5: Install Infrared Sensor

  1. Connect the mushroom-shaped infrared sensor 3-pin cable to the controller Sensor port.
  2. Lock the fastening nut tightly.
  3. The sensor automatically triggers dinosaur actions when visitors approach and enters power-saving standby mode when no one is nearby.

Step 6: Power On and Test

  1. Plug the power cord into the controller Power Input 110/220V port.
  2. Turn on the red main power switch. A steady red indicator light means successful power-on.
  3. All circuits are ready for sensor angle adjustment.

Step 7: Install Waterproof Rock Cover

  1. Cover the controller and speaker completely with the fiberglass rock shell.
  2. Route cables through the bottom gap without squeezing wires.
  3. Essential for long-term outdoor use against rain and sunlight aging.

Step 8: Adjust Sensor Position & Sensitivity

  1. Place the mushroom sensor on the ground in front of the dinosaur passage.
  2. Face the white sensing window toward visitor paths.
  3. Specification: 90° fan detection range, 6–7 meters maximum sensing distance.
  4. Test: The dinosaur automatically moves and roars when people enter the detection area and stops automatically after visitors leave.

4. Interface Function Reference Table

Interface Label Connected Accessory Function Plug Specification
Action Dinosaur main cable Transmit motor power and motion signals Multi-core large aviation plug
Audio Input Outdoor speaker cable Synchronous audio output 2-pin small aviation plug
Sensor Infrared detector Human induction auto-trigger system 3-pin aviation plug
Power Input Main power cord Controller power supply Universal power plug

5. Common Faults & Quick Troubleshooting

  1. No power indicator light
Check loose power connection, power switch status and site power supply.
  2. Power on but no dinosaur movement
Loose main aviation plug or dusty contact socket; re-clean and re-tighten.
  3. Normal movement but no sound
Loose speaker DC power cable or audio aviation connector.
  4. Continuous looping motion without stop
Poor sensor connection or blocked sensing window.
  5. Stuck or failed operation in rainy days
Loose aviation nuts cause water ingress; power off, dry and reconnect tightly.

6. Daily Maintenance Tips

  1. Check all aviation nuts weekly to prevent vibration loosening.
  2. Inspect the rock waterproof cover daily during rainy seasons for full coverage.
  3. Disconnect power and unplug all cables for long-term storage.
  4. Clean the infrared sensor window regularly to avoid sensing failure.
  5. Disconnect all controller cables before moving the dinosaur to prevent wire breakage.
